Barre is a fun and challenging workout that creates long lean muscles, using hand weights, resistance bands, yoga straps, blocks and Pilates balls. While stretching and controlling your breathing you will sculpt and tone your muscles. Barre is safe to practice daily and will help you strengthen and tone your body AND your mind while developing graceful balance and overall vitality. The barre is used as a prop to balance while doing exercises that focus on isometric strength training (holding your body still while you contract a specific set of muscles) combined with high reps of small range-of-motion movements. Focusing on Lower body & Core Barre is a low-impact (yet challenging) class.
